Lamb Kebabs with Red Onion and Yogurt Sauce

Another one of our customer submitted recipes. Quite simple and easy to make the combination of lamb and mint gives these kebabs a nice Mediterranean flair. This is a perfect summer recipe that would pair well with a glass of red wine. If you are feeling up for the challenge be sure to make the grilled naan bread to go along with your lamb!

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 15 mins

Ingredients

2 pounds lamb stew meat cut into chunks

1 red onion cut into similar sized chunks

1 6 oz container Greek Yogurt

1 T dried mint

Lawry's Seasoned Salt to taste

1 T olive oil

1 lemon cut in half

wooden skewers soaked in water

Directions

1Set up your grill for direct grilling, high heat

2Skewer the lamb and red onion onto the wooden skewers

3Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Lawry's salt and 1/2 of the dried mint

4Mix the other half of the dried mint into the yogurt to make the sauce

5Grill lamb skewers until they reach an internal temperature of 145F

6Squeeze lemon over grilled kebabs

7Serve immediately with sauce and maybe some grilled naan
