Grilled Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Vinegar

January 5, 2017

Grilling Brussels sprouts is a wonderful way to bring out their natural flavors. The addition of balsamic vinegar adds a nice little zing of flavor.

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 10 mins
  • Yields: 6 Servings

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds large brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed and cut in half

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

1Place all ingredients in a large bowl and toss gently to coat the Brussels sprouts.

2Using wooden or metal skewers skewer the Brussels sprouts. If you use two skewers at a time slightly spaced out it will keep the Brussels sprouts all facing the same direction.

3Preheat your grill to medium high or 450F.

4Place skewered Brussels sprouts on your GrillGrates and pour any remaining liquid from the bowl over the skewers.

5Proceed to grill 5 minutes a side or until Brussels are slightly browned and tender.
